Hi, Last chance to see the Bluebells in Knowle Wood, they are just about to pass their prime. Bank Holiday weekend ahead, now is the time to take a stroll through the wood to view them.
Many can be found down by the fence dividing the Wood, on both sides of it. Also there are good displays alongside the footpath running down behind the houses in Woodland Way/Meadow Way, accessed via the Woodland Way Twitten (alleyway) and via Woodfield by the corner of the Kids play area, just follow the path down.
As well as older footpaths, we have created new ones that meander through where we've been clearing over the last couple of years.
All I ask is to try and keep to the paths where possible to avoid trampling many of the wild flowers that are making an appearance, some for the first time (of course, you're free to roam anywhere) but only in "our" part of the Wood.
