Do you have any unwanted tools or craft items?

Do you have any tools or craft items in your garage, shed, spare room that you no longer use?
These could be garden tools, woodworking, mechanical or hobby items. Also pottery, rug making, typewriters, knitting machines, embroidery, tapestry, and pins, sewing thread, fasteners, needles, safety pins, dressmaking scissors, thimbles, anything which you no longer use, but which could be useful to provide a skill for someone overseas to help provide a living.

The collection point is St Andrew's Church, Coastguard lane. You can leave these items at the church anytime during the day from Sat 30th Sept to Sun 8th October.

The items will be sent to Tools With A Mission (TWAM), who will make sure they are refurbished, before sending them abroad to where they can be used to help people earn a living.

Providing people with a cottage industry, in their own village, helps to avoid starvation and prevents the migration to the big cities. It is a simple solution which has a big impact and your help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
Richard Barron
